Biographical Sketch:
Mr. Sahni is the technical lead for National Cancer Institute's (NCI) Integrative Cancer Research project called caIntegrator and also serves as technical architect for SAIC projects at NCI's Center of Bioinformatics (NCICB). caIntegrator is a generic translational informatics framework upon which various NCICB and caBIG translational research applications such as Rembrandt, I-SPY , Target, Eagle and CGEMS study portals are being built.
The caIntegrator provides an informatics bridge between research labs, clinical trials labs, hospitals and other research centers. Remote heterogeneous data sources are brought together by caIntegrator through an intermediary federated database architecture.
Mr. Sahni has an MS in Computer Science from the Johns Hopkins University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Buffalo-SUNY
