2006-present -- Senior Computer Specialist, Center For Public Health Informatics, Univ. of Washington, Seattle, WA 2000-2006 -- Software Developer, Dept. of Genome Science, Univ. of Washington, Seattle, WA 1998-2000 -- Research Scientist, Dept. of Biochemistry, Univ. of Washington, Seattle, WA 1994-1997 -- Postdoctoral Fellow, Dept. of Biochemistry, Univ. of Washington, Seattle, WA 1995-1997 -- NIH Postdoctoral Fellowship Develop multi-tiered web-based application for public health informatics to provide better access to public health data by integrating various open source technologies such as JBoss J2EE, Google Maps API, AJAX, JFreeChart library, R statistical package and Postgres database. Develop web applications for public health information exchange with XForms standards, XSLT, XPath, XHTML and CSS. Develop and administrate electronic surveys with LimeSurvey. Develop multi-tiered web-based application using J2EE (JSP, Servlet, EJB, JDBC), XML and JavaScript technology to provide easy access to large database like DBSNP, Hapmap. Develop complex relational database for bioinformatics research, data tracking and benchwork operation using Postgres, MySql and Oracle. Author or coauthor of 20 publications in life science research relating to protein chemistry and protein structure, genome science, bioinformatics and public health informatics.
