Biographical Sketch:
Margaret Marshburn is a Senior Systems Integration Analyst for Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC). Currently, she is assigned to CDC’s National Center for Public Health Informatics, Division for Informatics Shared Services as an HL7 Messaging Consultant developing PHIN HL7 message specifications. In addition, Ms. Marshburn represents CDC at the Healthcare Information Technology Standards Panel (HITSP) Population Health Technical Committee where she provides input for interoperability specifications for that support public health needs. Ms. Marshburn has over 30 years of nursing with experience in healthcare systems and HL7 data integration.
