Recipient of numerous awards from both the SC Joint Terrorism Task Force and the SC Dept of Health and Environmental Control for responses to outbreaks of public health significance and Bioterrorism response. Author or co-author of fifteen (15) publications in peer-reviewed journals on topics related to surveillance and data-management related to public health responses and also rapid needs assessments related to large-scale health impact events (i.e. Chlorine train derailment, suspected ricin exposure). Numerous presentations (both oral and poster) at both State and National conferences on topics related to surveillance and data-management/gathering related to public health investigations.
