Biographical Sketch:
Mr. Williams is the Informatics Team Lead in Immunization Information Systems Support Branch, The National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases (NCIRD), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Mr. Williams received his MPH degree from Emory University in 1991. Since 1991 he has been working at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Mr. Williams has worked in a variety of data collection and surveillance efforts involving maternal and child health programs, cancer registries, and immunization information systems. His research interests and expertise lies in the development and utilization of informatics efforts to promote public health program development. Mr. Williams is involved with standard message development vocabulary efforts and systematic engineering and modeling.
