Biographical Sketch:
2006- Present – Senior Scientist, The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, Laurel, MD 2003-2006 – Intelligent Systems Architect, Sensis Corporation, Syracuse, NY 2002-2003 – Adjunct Professor, Syracuse University, L.C. Smith College of Engineering and Computer Science Leading research activities in the field of decision support and data fusion for the JHU Center of Excellence in Public Health Informatics and the Disease Surveillance Program in the National Security Technology Department. Research interests include sensor data fusion, Bayesian networks, pattern recognition, machine learning, and cognitive science. Writer and presenter for many ESSENCE publications and presentations related to public health and public health informatics.
