Biographical Sketch:
Dr. Sapkota is a medical epidemiologist currently working in the Countermeasure Response and Administration Team within Division of Emergency Preparedness and Response, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Dr. Sapkota has been in the public health field for over 10 years and has worked in several area including chronic disease prevention, injuries prevention, environment health and public health emergencies.
Dr. Sanjeeb Sapkota received his medical degree from Tribhuwan University, Nepal and worked for several years in World Health Organization as a technical officer. He received his Masters of Public Health (MPH) from University of Kuopio, Finland. Dr. Sapkota is also a alumnus of Epidemic Intelligence Service--the world renowed program on applied epidemiology.
