Currently is responsible for coordinating Public Health Information Network compliance requirements and standards within data systems deployed by the Tennessee Department of Health, CEDS section. Responsible for the deployment of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Outbreak Management System (OMS) throughout the State of Tennessee, providing assistance and training to regional and metropolitan health jurisdictions across the state with the deployment and maintenance, including guidance on its use during large investigations, data collection and analysis methodology.
