Administrator Dashboards for Public Health Like the dashboard in a car, an administrator dashboard is designed to give you a status overview. By accessing the data in a program, one can build a digital dashboard that reflects key drivers within a program. In public health, key performance indicators and scorecards can become a snapshot-on-demand of the metrics to monitor a program's progress. The Office of Family Health in Oregon has taken the initiative to provide administrator dashboards to track specific programs in health. Collaborating with administrators to determine their needs, dashboards have been created to allow better tracking, reporting and decision-making. Administrators identified their key performance indicators. Consults with the data specialists assisted in identifying the actual data collected and their relevance to the indicators. After a period of development, dashboards based on administrator specifications were created and tested. The dashboard is an evolving project as the administrators test out what is available and useful. The goal of our dashboards is to assist administrators in making informed decisions with data in real-time.
