Biographical Sketch:
Ms. Tropper is the lead Health Scientist for the Countermeasure and Response Administration (CRA) system developed by CDC’s National Center for Public Health Informatics. Ms. Tropper is responsible for the day to day management of the CRA contract development team. In addition, as the Health Science lead, Ms. Tropper plays a significant role in ensuring subject matter experts from public health partner; CDC and related organizations help inform CRA and related informatics tools to support users in fulfilling requirements for PHIN intervention activities related to countermeasure tracking and administration. Ms. Tropper was also involved in initiating the BioSense project and has extensive experience in healthcare informatics prior to coming to CDC in various positions including the director of Information systems for a 150 physician clinic and an administrator in a 1000+ bed teaching hospital. Ms. Tropper holds Masters Degrees in Science and Public Health from Columbia University in the City of New York.
