Biographical Sketch:
Mr. Vaughn McMullin is Chief Architect and Managing Principal with Vanguard Consulting Group currently working as part of the Public Health Information Network Messaging System (PHINMS) team at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as a Subject Matter Expert Consultant. He has over 13 years of experience with information technology and system architecture. Mr. McMullin’s current focus is on improving the usability of the PHINMS Software for use and deployment and has been one of the primary contributors since the inception of PHINMS. Prior to this appointment he severed as a Senior Director of Software and Architecture for Luxcore Networks. Mr. McMullin is a thought leader in the area of distributed network processing and messaging transactions for high availability systems. Mr. McMullin holds a Masters Degree in Physics with studies focused on computational techniques using computers from Virginia State University.
