Biographical Sketch:
Mr. Kreisler has more than 18 total years of work experience in the clinical and laboratory interface arena as interface support engineer, interface software developer, interface software designer and finally as an HL7 standards developer. Mr. Kreisler is a co-chair of the HL7 Orders and Observations Work Group, leading development of the next generation of messages and documents using HL7 Version 3.0. Mr. Kreisler is also a Co-chair of the HL7 Domain Experts Steering Division and primary representative to the HL7 Technical Steering Committee. He is also a past Co-chair of the Laboratory Work Group. In 2006, Mr. Kreisler was recognized and an HL7 Volunteer of the Year. Mr. Kreisler has been a PHIN Conference presenter, including a full day work shop on HL7 Version 3.0 Case Reporting in 2005, a half-day workshop on PHIN HL7 Messaging in 2007 and moderated a session dedicated to Laboratory Messaging in 2008.
