Biographical Sketch:
Ms. Kirnak co-founded Software Partners LLC in 1992 (www.swpartners.com, www.matchmerge.com). Her company has 11 years experience supporting public health with immunization registry and decision support software and services. Software Partners also supports a San Diego-based Health Information Exchange (HIE) project, the Emergency Department Medical Home (EDMH) project, which interoperates with the San Diego Regional Immunization Registry (SDIR), operated by the County of San Diego. Her work with healthcare interoperability Standards Development Organizations (SDOs), including Health Level Seven (HL7), Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE), Public Health Data Standards Consortium (PHDSC), the American Immunization Registry Association (AIRA), is aimed at furthering the progress of public health as a catalyst health information exchange generally. Ms. Kirnak’s educational background is in computer science. She holds a Master’s degree in computer science from the University of California, San Diego.
