Biographical Sketch:
Julie Chin has worked at technology start-ups in the heart of the Silicon Valley for over 9 years. She currently works at Google.org as a Program Manager where she promotes Google's unique contributions to creating technology for a public good, particularly in the developing world. Her work includes mobile and earth (geospatial and mapping) technologies. She has also worked closely with Google.org public health team, and disease detection groups like Flu Trends and InSTEDD. Julie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Bachelor of Science degree from Stanford University.
