Biographical Sketch:
2008-present – Bureau Director, Utah Department of Health, Office of Public Health Assessment, Salt Lake City, UT. Provide leadership for the Survey Center, and the Community Assessment Program that includes Utah’s Indicator-Based Information System for Public Health.
1999-2007 – Research Consultant, Utah Department of Health, Office of Public Health Assessment, Survey Center. Utah Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) Coordinator and Survey Center manager. Responsible for overseeing survey operations including questionnaire development, data analysis and report production.
1994-1998 – Public Health Nurse, Utah Department of Health. Children With Special Health Care Needs Program.
Co-author on many reports of BRFSS data. Oral and poster presentations at national BRFSS and Assessment Initiative conferences.
