Full-time faculty member at the University of Washington Center for Public Health Informatics in the School of Public Health, with a joint appointment in the School of Medicine. Research interests include the use of qualitative methods to investigate the information workflow of public health practitioners, and the use of natural language processing to improve access to public health information. Associate Director of the Public Health Informatics tract for the Division of Biomedical and Health Informatics.
