1983 to 1987 – Dental Practitioner in National Health Service UK in Birkenhead and Liverpool.
1987 to 1989 - District Dental Officer, Dangriga, Stann Creek and Toledo, Belize ( as a VSO volunteer )
1989 to 2002 - District Dental Officer, Stann Creek.
Founding member and executive officer, Belize dental society.
Secretary, treasurer and chair, Stann Creek core committee.
1995 to 2001 – District Medical Officer, Stann Creek.
Member, Belize medical and dental association.
2002 to 2004 executive officer BMDA.
2001 to 2002 – Regional Health Manager, Southern Belize.
2002 to February 2008 – Director, Policy Analysis and Planning Unit, Ministry of Health, Belmopan.
January 2005 to 2010 accepted honorary post of Adjunct Professor in the Department of Global Health, College of Public Health, University of South Florida.
