Biographical Sketch:
Mr. Vic Nwadiogbu is a Software Architect in the domains of: • Healthcare Information Technology • Healthcare System Integration and Implementation • Public Health Informatics and Practice • Standard based Messaging using HL7, X12, ASTM, HIPAA 4010 transaction sets • Standard Message Transport System includes PHINMS (ebXML), SOAP, HTTPS, TCP/IP Vic has over 15 years of Information Technology experience, which includes software development and implementation, system architecture, system integration, and technical project management. He is currently employed by Northrop Grumman, Information Technology Division working on several projects at CDC Information Technology (CITS II) contracts with the National Center for Public Health Informatics/Division of Informatics and Shared Services (NCPHI/DISS). Recent accomplishments include: • Architecture and development of messaging infrastructure to support application and development of CDC Bio-Terrorism Response Management System. • Architect and Lead Developer of an Enterprise CDC Data and Message Brokering (DMB) Service. This service includes a system capable of supporting the receipt and processing of over 5 million transactions per day Real Time BioSense Surveillance system. Other projects within the CDC DMB architecture are the Case Notification Messaging project to support the National Disease Notification Surveillance system; Public Health laboratory Interoperability project to support the American Public Health Laboratory and CDC Influenza Monitoring system. • Developed an integrated messaging solution for Electronic Lab Reporting (ELR) using PHIN Information Architecture and Specification for Commercial Laboratory, CDC, and CDC partners. • Participated in the development of the CDC standard based messaging transport system (PHINMS) using ebXML protocol.
