Biographical Sketch:
Marla Albitz serves as the NHSN information technology project manager and project manager for the NHSN CDA for HAI reporting project in the Surveillance Branch, Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion, NCPDCID, CCID. Marla’s information technology career spans over 20 years with the last nine years at the CDC. Marla is employed by Lockheed Martin Information Technology and holds an undergraduate degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Georgia. She is a certified HL7 CDA Specialist and a Project Management Professional (PMP).
