Biographical Sketch:
2003-Present -- Senior developer and Grid Architect, Center for High Performance Computing, University of Utah
Over 11 years of IT experience including 6 years of specialization in Grid Computing
Experienced in every facet of IT and Software Engineering.
Served as Chief Grid Architect and Software Developer to the Digital Sherpa project which is a grid application for automation and execution of jobs on many separate high performance compute resources across the National TeraGrid allowing new science to be accomplished.
Lead a team of combustion scientists and developers in the implementation of a Java web services application used to submit combustion simulations to super computers. The application was successfully presented in a live demonstration in front of top decision makers at the United States Department of Energy.
Designed a Java Solution to solve web file ownership issues resulting in a United States Patent Application.
Numerous presentations at scientific meetings and author or co-author of many publications.
