Biographical Sketch:
Yair Shimshoni has over 15 years of experience in data mining and machine learning, both in the academy as well as in the industry. Yair has lectured courses in Data Mining and Statistics in Tel-Aviv University and was involve in research of Machine Learning methods and data analysis projects in various domains (e.g., seismological, financial, telecommunication, gene expression, advertising, marketing, Internet and more). Yair holds a Bachelor of Science in Statistics, a Master of Science in Computer Science (Machine Learning) and a Master of Business Administration, all from Tel-Aviv University. He is currently working at Google Inc., as a Decision Support Research Analyst.
