2007 -- Current Director of Quality Informatics, Primary Care Information Project, New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, New York, New York 2006-2007 -- Adjunct Faculty, Nova Southeastern University, Department of Preventive Med. 2004-2007 -- Director of Occupational Health Services, Veterans Administration Medical Center, West Palm Beach, FL Implementation of medical surveillance programs, management of occupational infectious disease exposures, tuberculosis control and management, quality improvement for clinical reminder performance indicators, created and implemented “HealthyVA!”, an educational program for staff on the benefits of preventive medical care available, implemented smoking cessation program for VA Hospital staff. 2004-2007 -- Clinical Instructor, Palm Beach County Preventive Medicine/Public Health residents 2003-2004 -- Senior Physician, Indian River County Heath Department, Vero Beach, FL. Provided adult outpatient primary care, clinic supervision, tuberculosis control and management, influenza surveillance, quality improvement. 2009 -- HITEP II (Health Information Technology Expert Panel II) Member National Quality Forum expert panel to develop a quality data set (QDS) and identify healthcare workflow changes to enable automation of performance measures through electronic health records (EHRs) and health information exchanges. 2008 -- Developed and demonstrated the AHIC Quality Use Case using NHIN protocols to exchange aggregate quality measure data. 5th Nationwide Health Information Network Forum: NHIN Trial Implementations: A Path to Production.
