Biographical Sketch:
Michael J. McGill, Ph.D.
Mike is Director of Health Sciences for Internet2. He was VP and CIO of the Henry Ford Health System and CIO of the University of Michigan Health System. He was Vice president of OCLC. At Syracuse University, he was Associate Professor, Assistant Dean for Research and Ph.D. Program, for Information Studies and Associate Professor of Computer Science. He was Program Director for Information Science for NSF and Senior Advisor, U.S. EPA. He is a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and the author of articles and co-author of Introduction to Modern Information Retrieval.
