Biographical Sketch:
Andrew is responsible for shaping the strategic enterprise SOA solution portfolio to help the federal government, military agencies and commercial clients understand the benefits and challenges of enterprise SOA. He leads the enterprise-wide SOA initiative at the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Acquisition Service using Unisys Enterprise SOA methodology, which he developed based on his hands on experience delivering the essential elements that must be in place to achieve interoperability and reuse on an enterprise-wide scale. This methodology includes addressing SOA Governance, Service Portfolio Management, Service Descriptions, Service Interface Design, Implementation and Service Testing, Service Consumption, Service Deployment, Production Monitoring, and Service Ownership. Andrew also provides SOA guidance to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), National Weather Service (NWS) and the Department of Defense (DoD) in support of the Next Generation Air Transportation System.
