Biographical Sketch:
2007 - Project Director for CDC STD Prevention and Adult Viral Hepatitis Prevention Coordinator Grants. 2005 -- Completed fellowship at Mid-America Advanced Executive Public Health Leadership Institute, University of Illinois School of Public Health, Chicago, IL. 2004 - Present -- SARS Outbreak Contact Tracing Coordinator, Illinois Department of Public Health, Springfield, IL. 1989 - Present -- STD Program Chief, Illinois Department of Public Health, Springfield, IL. Responsible for overall leadership of a statewide sexually transmitted diseases program including oversight of infertility prevention project and integration of viral hepatitis prevention into existing client services. 1994 to Present -- Region V Infertility Prevention Project Advisory Committee Member, Indianapolis, IN. Active participant in Region V Infertility Prevention Project Advisory Committee and Chair of Data Subcommittee. 2000 - 2003 -- Acting HIV/AIDS Program Chief, Illinois Department of Public Health, Springfield, IL. Responsible for overall leadership of a statewide HIV/AIDS prevention and care program including surveillance, HIV PCRS, ADAP, Title II, Housing and HIV Prevention Community Planning. Numerous presentations at programmatic and scientific meetings.
