Biographical Sketch:
Professional experience: Currently co-coordinating the STD screening project and reproductive health program in 10 at-risk adolescents sites within one county. Additionally, coordinating a state funded initiative to assess STDs and reproductive health needs in 14 school-based clinics. Previously coordinated screening project in nine detention/correctional facilities. Over 20 years of experience in community health as a instructor, research assistant and clinician. Numerous presentations to the state Juvenile Detention Association, Region V and Michigan’s Infertility Prevention Alliance Meetings, Michigan STD & HIV Annual Conference (1999, 2002, 2005) Regional CDC Conference on Collaboration to Address STDs with the Juvenile Justice System (2002) and National STD Prevention Conferences (2000, 2002, 2004, 2006).
