Professional Experiences with the Mississippi Department of Health From 1989 - Present Include:
- Serve as Data Manager for Mississippi Infertility Prevention Project
- Serve as STD/HIV program liaison to Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians.
- Coordinated Comprehensive STD Prevention Systems (CSPS) and HIV Surveillance cooperative agreements
- Provided training of staff associates in application of developed methods/techniques of investigation and health care
- Coordinated field investigations and timely analysis of case reports
- Interviewed known contacts of communicable diseases
- Located and advised known cases and contacts of available diagnostic facilities and procedures to ensure prompt treatment and schedule appointments for examinations
- Provided technical assistance/advice to health program personnel on prevention of communicable diseases
