Biographical Sketch:
1974-present -- Mathematical Statistician, CDC, Division of STD Prevention, Atlanta, GA.
Responsible for providing statistical consultation to clinical research investigators, behavioral scientists, health services reseach investigators, statisticians and other researchers. Develop research protocols, design clinical trials, epidemiologic and other research studies. Analyze data from evaluation, surveillance, therapy and other research projects. Review and develop mathematical models for STD prevention and control. Design methodologies to evaluate the disease control strategies.
Author or co-author of more than 50 publications in peer reviewed journals relating to the clinical, epidemiological and other research aspects of sexually transmitted diseases.
Presented numerous papers at national and international scietific meetings.
Received many awards and citations for research in sexually transmitted diseases.
