Biographical Sketch:
Dr. Trigg has been with the New Mexico Department of Health for the past 16 years and is currently Medical Director of the STD Program, Regions 1 and 3. For the past year he has been the Medical Director of the Public Health Program at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Albuquerque. Dr. Trigg is Clinical Assistant Professor, Department of Pediatrics and Associate Professor of Nursing at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center. He is chair of the New Mexico Clinical Prevention Initiative (CPI) Chlamydia Working Group and is a member of the Board of Directors of the National Coalition of STD Directors (NCSD).
From 1983 to 1986 he worked with the Indian Health Service of the US Public Health Service on Native American reservations in New Mexico and Arizona.
