Department liaison for the Nelson Tebedo Clinic, Resource Center of Dallas, Private Medical Doctors and disease reporting Laboratories.  Organize and coordinate the Dallas County Syphilis Elimination Coalition, where the goal is to involve the community for improved disease intervention through screening, outreach, education and expanded clinical services.  Supervise and Monitor the operational funds for the Dallas County Syphilis Elimination Project. I work directly with CBOs in the development of their Memorandum of Understandings (MOU) and Agreements (MOA) to ensure a functional relationship with the Dallas County Health Department.  Monitors the coalition activities and maintain the membership roster, which is comprised of community-based organizations, government agencies, religious sectors and residents.  Conducts and Coordinate STD/HIV Educational presentations for the STD program  Supervise the daily operations of the Jail Team. I work directly with personnel from Lew Sterrett Justice Center, Juvenile Detention Center, Seagoville Correctional Facility, Government Center, Kay’s, Cornell, George Allen, Decker and TDCJ jails. OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED: Provide syphilis elimination quarterly reports to DSHS, assists with semi-annual STD reports (narratives), provides weekly STD Ad-Hoc reports, developed STD program orientation manual for DIS and Clerical Staff, conducts all departmental orientation on new employees, assisted with ICR and OOJ reporting, Developed the DCHHS Syphilis Elimination Web-link, conducts educational in-service for Dallas ISTDI courses, coalition members and community agencies. Coordinate STD/HIV annual awards day ceremony and provides Technical Assistance to the Houston Health Department syphilis elimination coalition.
