2006-present -- Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer, CDC, Field Assignments Branch, Springfield, IL. 2006 -- Veterinary Specialist, Center for Food Security and Public Health, Ames, IA. 2005-2006 -- Adjunct Instructor, Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine, Ames, IA. 2003-present -- Public Health Officer, Kansas Air National Guard, 190th Air Refueling Wing, Forbes Field, Topeka, KS. Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Preventive Medicine (2007). Conduct epidemiologic investigations and studies, perform surveillance activities and provide technical advice to local and state health agencies on a variety of infectious diseases (2006-present). Created educational materials for veterinarians, public health professionals and livestock producers about zoonotic and foreign animal diseases (2005-2006).
