Biographical Sketch:
JSI, Denver, Colorado Project Manager, 1999 to present Project Director 2002 to present Selected Projects: Region VIII Infertility Prevention Project Responsibilities include coordinating six state-wide federally funded chlamydia control programs. Plan and implement activities of Chlamydia Regional Advisory Committee including: assess need for changes in protocols and procedures; advise participants on latest developments in chlamydia testing and treatment; promote and direct development of quality assurance plans within project sites. Prepare progress reports, project work plan, and budget. Member of planning committee for 2002 National STD Conference. This is a national conference sponsored by the CDC. The Project Director responsibilities also include data management for the Region VIII IPP. The Project Director populates the database, maintains the database stability and assures data integrity. ntegrating HIV and Other Prevention Services into Reproductive Health and Community Settings Prepare quarterly reports and project work plan. Plan and facilitate activities to accomplish project goals and objectives. Promote and directe the development of a new and innovative curriculum for behavior change focused toward clinicians. Region VIII Quality Indicators Project Coordinate and manage the project with the Region VIII Family Planning Title X Grant Directors to implement a set of quality indicator tools and collect data using the tools at a number of pilot sites throughout the Region. Options Replication Project Coordinate six sites for training and intervention implementation. Assist each site with the IRB application process and facilitate expert consultation for sites. Conduct monthly calls and a site visit. Evaluation of Weld County Steps to a Healthier Colorado Project Oversee the contract to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the Weld County (Colorado) STEPS to a Healthier US Program. STEPS to a Healthier Weld is a federally funded grant which focuses on delivering health messages and programs to the community and schools about three target diseases: diabetes, obesity, and asthma. Provide an evaluation of the program which includes a process, implementation and outcome focus and manage data collection and management.
