Biographical Sketch:
2005-present, Health Scientist, CDC, National Center for HIV/AIDS, Hepititis, STD, Tuberculosis, Division of Sexually Transmitted Diseases, Atlanta, GA Project Officer for major tasks associated with the development of HIV prevention program evaluation guidance and the provision of evaluation and monitoring technical assistance to local/state health departments and community-based organizations; Serve as a branch representative on division workgroups working to revise counseling and testing guidelines; review relevant literature, make recommendations, and provide evaluation feedback 2002-2005, Health Scientist, CDC, National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, Division of Adolescent and School Health, Atlanta, GA Responsible for developing and implementing epidemiology training modules for academic institutions. Developed evaluation tools to assess the effectiveness of training modules and programs. Served as technical consultant for CDC collaborating with health departments, the academic community, local agencies and the media to form a consortium to advance the integration of public health science into the conventional science curriculum.
