Biographical Sketch:
Dec. 2006 - present Senior Service Fellow with the Division of Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD), National Center for HIV, STD, and Tuberculosis Prevention (NCHSTP); estimating economic burden of STDs; conducting economic evaluation of STD prevention programs. Oct. 2004 - Sept. 2006 Prevention Effectiveness (PE) fellow with the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC); developing a guide for conducting economic evaluation in occupational safety and health; conducting economic evaluations of occupational safety and health interventions. Oct. 2003 - Aug. 2004 Economist: Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE) Research Fellow attached to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC); worked on a Terrorism Preparedness and Emergency Response project in which we developed a web-based course to assist state and local public officials to conduct economic evaluations of preparedness in their unique settings.
