STD Control Program
Melinda Salmon has served as the Program Manager of the Sexually Transmitted Disease Control Program in the Division of Disease Control, Philadelphia Department of Public Health since June 2007. Prior to assuming this role, Melinda served as the Assistant Program Manager for Special Projects in Philadelphia, coordinating the Philadelphia High School Screening Program for five years. During her tenure in Philadelphia she trained under the nationally known Program Manager, Martin Goldberg.
Prior to working in the Philadelphia STD Control Program, Melinda worked in CDC's Division of Diabetes Translation as a Program Consultant, and in the Philadelphia TB Control Program as the Program Manager.
