The Young Men's Clinic (YMC) at New York-Presbyterian Hospital provides a comprehensive and coordinated array of clinic- and community-based interventions aimed at improving the health, including the sexual and reproductive health (SRH) of marginalized men of color 14-35 years of age. Approximately 1,800 men made almost 4,000 visits in 2008, a 33% increased utilization over 2006. Chlamydia prevalence is 12-14% annually, and over 99% of infected males are treated. Quasi-experimental evaluations of individual and group interventions at YMC and community-based organizations have found significant increases in male participants' SRH knowledge, beliefs, attitudes, and behaviors, including condom use.
