Project Red Talon is a capacity-building project designed to prevent sexually transmitted infections (STI) among the 43 federally recognized Tribes in Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. This presentation will share existing and emerging strategies used by Red Talon to reach Native teens and young adults, including STD/HIV social marketing campaigns, STD/HIV screening events, and a variety of media technologies. This session will discuss the background and need for each of these approaches, activities that are integral to successfully implementation, and anticipated results.
