Biographical Sketch:
2008-present -- ORISE Research Fellow, CDC, Guide to Community Preventive Services, Atlanta, GA 2006-2007 -- Program Assistant, Closing the Gap in Infant Mortality Project, Central Hillsborough Healthy Start Project, Tampa, FL 2006-2007 -- Interviewer, USF AHEC, Women’s Healthcare Collaborative, University of South Florida, Tampa, FL Provide support to coordinating scientists in conducting systematic reviews investigating: 1) the effectiveness of group-based interventions to reduce unintended pregnancy, HIV and other STIs in adolescents and 2) the effectiveness of youth development interventions (2008-present). Collaborated with Central Hillsborough Healthy Start in the coordination of health fairs, health education sessions, support groups and community council meetings (2006-2007). Presentations at Community Preventive Services Task Force Meetings and CDC’s Work Group on Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health Meeting (2008-2009). Charter Class member of Certified in Public Health (CPH) -- (2008).
