Biographical Sketch:
Dr. Dodge is a Research Scientist in the Department of Applied Health Science and Associate Director of the Center for Sexual Health Promotion. He received his Ph.D. in Health Behavior from Indiana University in 2002. He completed his postdoctoral training in the NIMH-funded Behavioral Sciences Research in HIV Infection Fellowship in the HIV Center for Clinical and Behavioral Studies at the Columbia University Department of Psychiatry and the New York State Psychiatric Institute. He then served as an Assistant Professor in the College of Public Health and Health Professions at the University of Florida for two years. He re-joined the faculty of Indiana University in 2007. He is a core faculty member of the Public Health unit and Affiliated Faculty at The Kinsey Institute for Research in Sex, Gender, and Reproduction. Dr. Dodge's research and training have focused on various social and behavioral aspects of sexual health in relation to HIV/AIDS, other sexually transmitted infections (STI), and other facets of overall well-being. His current research agenda focuses broadly on men's sexual health, including male bisexuality and its potential relationships to risk, innovative methods of STI testing, and the ongoing role of male condoms in sexual health promotion.
