Biographical Sketch:
Dan Merkan, Director of Evaluation and HIV Prevention, has worked in HIV prevention programs since 1999, and is trained in the Street Smart, POL, MPower models, the PEMS data system, as well as in HIV counseling and testing and Rapid Testing. Mr. Merkan directs all HIV program components and is responsible for evaluation all programs. He is the Prevention Committee Chair of the FCCAPP, the Behavioral Specialist on the Florida Comprehensive Planning Network – Prevention Planning Group, and is a member of the Bureau of HIV/AIDS Evaluation Consortia.
