2008-present -- CDC/CSTE Applied Epidemiology Fellow, San Francisco Department of Public Health, San Francisco, CA Evaluate social marketing campaign to increase syphilis screening among men who have sex with men in San Francisco Evaluate surveillance system of pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) in San Francisco Implement and evaluate project designed to improve PID reporting in San Francisco Act as Team Epidemiologist for multidisciplinary approach to reducing STDs among adolescents in San Francisco Coordinate weekly journal club meetings Develop, implement, and evaluate a survey to assess the effect of bacterial vaginosis (BV) on the quality of life of women Using PROC SQL, act as analyst on several epidemiologic projects including: Effectiveness of Patient Delivered Partner Therapy (PDPT); Rectal Gonorrhea and Chlamydia surveillance; Positivity rates of urethral Gonorrhea and Chlamydia from oral sex; Trends in Pelvic Inflammatory Disease in San Francisco; Transgender health issues
