•Convene the syphilis prevention stakeholder group and facilitate a collaborative process between the ADHS/STD and HIV Programs, the county health department and community organizations to implement a behavioral intervention and increase syphilis screening efforts targeted towards men who have sex with men (MSM).
•Manage the implementation and evaluation of a behavioral surveillance study among HIV-infected MSM at two local HIV clinics.
•Co-lead grant proposal submissions-awarded funding to develop statewide strategic plan to address gaps in HIV/AIDS prevention services for MSM.
•Conduct and synthesize key informant interviews with physicians, local and state health department officials, community-based organization staff, and community members with insight into the local MSM community.
•Develop surveys, focus group guides, focus group and key informant interview questions, and needs assessment plans.
