Host of a weekly radio program for Black women, "Sistas’ Time" on WRFG/89.3 FM
Community Leadership Award from the Board of Trustees of Spelman College and the U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Community Service Award. She sits on various local, national and international boards of directors and/or advisors that relate to HIV/AIDS, women's health/rights, human rights and issues of concern to people of color
