Biographical Sketch:
9 years - Senior Epidemiologist, Center for STIs,TB and Immigrant Health, Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene - Responsible for statewide surveillance, database design, data management, data analysis, and dissemination of information STIs. 7 years - Epidemiology - Center for Veterinary Public Health, Division of Epidemiology and Disease Control Program, Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene - surveillance and data analysis of the Maryland Lyme disease Registry; database design, data management, and data analysis of zoonotic diseases with emphasis on rabies, prophylactic post-exposure treatment, and Lyme disease. 15 years - Lima, Peru, and Washington State conducting veterinary epidemiology, performing microbiological laboratory research, and providing technical assistance. Author or co-author on 15 abstracts or articles, mainly related to epidemiologic applications of Lyme disease surveillance data, e.g. treatment therapies, racial differences, and economic impact
