Biographical Sketch:
2006-Present, Education/Training/Outreach Coordinator, District of Columbia Department of Health HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis, STD, Tuberculosis Administration, Bureau of STD Control, Washington, DC 2002-2006, Deputy Project Director, Consortium for Child Welfare's Family Ties Project, Washington, DC Responsible for the development and implementation of training materials for the Bureau of STD Control. Responsible for the development of outreach events to raise awareness and reduce barriers to testing and treatment for the DC community. Responsible for the development and implementation for a large scale training and screening event for adolescents in Washington, DC. (2006-present) Responsible for the training and education of families and providers around issues related to HIV/AIDS. Implemented a nationally recognized permanency planning model for HIV affected families. (2002-2006) Presented at local and national conferences on implementing training outreach programs related to STDs.
