Ms. Elizabeth Hesse is a Clinical Research Coordinator with the Adolescent Medicine division at Cincinnati Children’s. She has been working at Children’s since June 2008 and now has over a year of experience. She currently works for Dr. Jill Huppert, Dr. Maria Britto, and Dr. Sian Cotton on all aspects of clinical research. Ms. Hesse recruits patients for potential research participation, collects and enters study data, helps collect and store study specimens, follows-up with participants as necessary (e.g., phone calling, mailings, etc.), and does administrative work pertinent to the running of that particular study. She also is very involved with data interpretation and manuscript compilation and submission, helping Drs. Britto and Huppert write, edit, and submit original manuscripts for publication. She is currently listed as a co-author on two submitted manuscripts.
