Biographical Sketch:
Dr. Stoner joined the Infectious Disease division in 1995. He holds a joint appointment as Associate Professor of Anthropology in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. He completed residency training in internal medicine at Duke University Medical Center, and postdoctoral fellowship training in infectious diseases at the University of Washington in Seattle. His research focuses upon the clinical epidemiology of sexually transmitted diseases and socio-cultural factors, which influence infectious disease risk in human populations
