Biographical Sketch:
July 2007-Present: Program Associate, Partnership for Prevention, Washington, DC
• Lead the immunization and alcohol prevention initiatives by developing strategies, engaging with key partners, and having a strong knowledge of the subject matter to further the organization’s work in these areas
• Manage a health communication project to educate women about HPV using social media
• Manage a project to increase influenza immunization at workplaces through a survey, research, and a publication
• Established, and now coordinate, a national coalition with over 50 members to reduce the rates of Chlamydia in the U.S.
• Designed, developed, and launched an electronic newsletter for the coalition that currently has over 250 subscribers—more than double the number of original recipients in just three months
• Developed and launched a National Chlamydia Coalition website
• Researched and assisted in writing an implementation guide for health care providers to increase Chlamydia screening
• Researched, wrote, and disseminated a health promotion guide for employers
