Biographical Sketch:
June 2006 – Epidemiologist, Genesee County Health Department. Job Description – Providing epidemiological support to Genesee County which includes: disease surveillance, disease data analysis, leading disease and outbreak investigations, chairing monthly meeting of Communicable Disease Investigation Response Team (C-DIRT), assisting health care community in all aspects of disease programming and epidemiological studies, and involvement in emergency preparedness activities. Additional notable projects include involvement in a continuous quality improvement pilot program, surveillance system development, and validation of a molecular assay for use in the public health laboratory.
