Biographical Sketch:
2005-present -- Assistant Professor, Columbia University School of Social Work, New York, NY 2006-present -- Associate Director, Social Intervention Group, Columbia University School of Social Work, New York, NY 2007-present -- Co-Director, HIV Intervention Science Training Program for Minority New Investigators, Columbia University School of Social Work, New York, NY 2002-2004 -- Program Evaluation and Research Coordinator, Seeking Non-Violent Alternatives Program, The New York City Gay & Lesbian Anti-Violence Project, New York, NY Dr. Wu teaches in the areas of social work research, human behavior in the social environment, and anti-oppression. His program of research includes both health services research and behavioral intervention research, with an emphasis on assisting marginalized and/or disempowered populations residing at the nexus of rug abuse, partner violence, and HIV. His current studies include couple-based intervention with methamphetamine-involved, African American men who have sex with men, and service utilization among men and women attending alternative-to-incarceration programs in New York City.
